Falls Church Arts (FCA) is a 501(c)3, nonprofit, community arts organization that promotes the visual, performing, literary, and applied arts.
The mission of Falls Church Arts is to ensure that the arts are an essential part of the cultural environment of the city of Falls Church. To achieve this end, the FCA will conceive, develop and implement programs to foster the visual, performing, literary, and applied arts.
FCA partners with Creative Cauldron at ArtSpace Falls Church (map), the home of the FCA Gallery. Several exhibits a year are mounted at the gallery and, every year, FCA’s All-Member Show hangs on all the walls at ArtSpace. Several times a year, FCA sponsors artists’ discussions at ArtSpace. It also holds other events there, such as demonstrations, workshops and classes, and literary gatherings.
Elsewhere in the city, FCA also sponsors the year-long Gallery Without Walls program, Art in the Parks at the Cherry Hill Concerts (summer), art classes, and an annual Plein Air Festival (May-June). It also publishes an email newsletter.
